Mt. Edith Cavell

While not the highest elevation (at 11,033 feet) in Jasper National park, I have seen this mountain described as being the most prominent peak entirely within Alberta. I suppose the other, higher elevation mountains spill over into British Columbia, or some such.

Whatever the case I recall being able to see this peak from many places along the trails that my wife an I hiked during our visit. This particular view is from the Overlook Loop trail which is high above the town of Jasper and the Miette, Maligne and Athabasca valleys.
