Mabry Mill Water Wheel

Mabry Mill, Floyd County, Virginia
Circa 1905, constructed by Edwin Boston Mabry. In addition to this mill, Mabry also operated a wagon repair and construction business plus a blacksmith shop that supported activities for the mill and wagon endeavors. Through its life the mill has served as a saw mill and grist mill, which the mill is still configured for both today.

Today Mabry Mill is owned and operated by the National Park Service and is located at mile marker 176.2 of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visitors to this site will enjoy several interpretive features that represent the time and life of Mr. and Mrs. Mabry.
