Ice Crystals
This was my first attempt at photographing an ice crystal, I can tell this sort of subject picking could be very addictive! I photographed this crystal while my car was covered with frost. The vehicle is charcoal gray so I think the colors here are pretty close to accurate given the light temp. It took a little time to isolate a single crystal but I finally found one that seemed worth photographing. My vehicle was in the shade when I photographed this so there was no direct light to deal with and I am very happy with the angles of the reflective light I did capture. The vignette is natural which in this case is coming from the reversed-lens aperture controller. This crystal is approximately 10mm long.
